Happy November!

Good morning friends!  Sorry for the weekday disappearing act I have been pulling lately.  This past week was super busy–  I had a relative from India come to visit, so much of my afternoons were spent hanging out with her and my mom.  By the time I came home most nights, I was too tired to post!

Our Halloween was pretty fun– I knew I didn’t have it in me to go out for too long, but my husband and I did manage to go to our friend’s house for a few hours.  We were super last minute with our costumes– literally two days before Halloween, we ordered costumes online.  Fortunately the shipping was only an extra six bucks to get it on time for Halloween.  Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of me in the costume at this moment because they are on my hubby’s phone and he is asleep.  I did find a pic of the costume online though– I was a snap pea (you know, to go along with the whole pea in a pod pregnancy theme), and my husband was a hot dog!

We were home by 8:30 on Halloween, which was perfect for my sleep schedule!

Last night, we had a relaxed night in with my favorite pizza and salad from Pizza Gourmet.

I had half of this enormous pear and gorgonzola salad with pineapple vinaigrette and candied pecans.

Plus two slices of margherita pizza on whole wheat crust.

I haven’t had a Crumbs cupcake in ages, but hubby brought me one last night! It was the seasonal pumpkin cupcake and while it was super moist and very tasty, it wasn’t as good as I hoped. I think the frosting wasn’t tangy enough (since it was a cream cheese frosting after all!).

I am really excited for the fact it is November. I simply love the whole holiday feel that begins this month. Hubby and I don’t have any major plans this month except to continue to get ready for baby, but still, I can’t wait for all of the holiday cheer. It’s crazy to think that once the holidays are over and it’s January, I will only be a few short months away from being a mom!

Well, I will be back soon with my 21 week pregnancy update. . . until then, happy weekend!

What are you most looking forward to this month?
